ISO 9001:2015 CertificationÂ
Over the course of 2018, Proto-1 Manufacturing strives for continuous improvement and in 2018 it has been our goal to achieve an ISO 9001:2015 certification.
ISO 9001 is a globally recognized quality management standard that is embedded within the organization. These new processes will lead to consistent outcomes, better internal management, better organization, and increased productivity. Having these processes in place will streamline employee training, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
ISO 9001:2015 will also introduce benefits for our customers as well. These benefits include better quality products and service, improved reporting, and more reliable production scheduling and delivery.
Our pre-assessment audit will take place on December 10th. Within the months to follow pre-assessment, Proto-1 Manufacturing will undergo the final audits to receive official certification.
ISM-6: Next Gen
Our new Indexing Segment Endforming Machine now features fully servo controlled jaws. Rather than using a timer interval to control the position of the jaws, our new ISM-6 uses a positional value. This value can then be tracked using our FAST Technology to ensure that every jaw is meeting its position every cycle. An available 2 jaw operation feature will reround tube and pipe from 2″ – 5″ in diameter. Applications for this machine include: beading, norma ball, expanding, reducing, rerounding, large beading, and flaring. Check out the videos and pictures below to see our new ISM-6 in action!
