Proto-1 offers quality lab services ranging from prototype part measurements to inspecting of parts produced. We recently added a new CMM to ensure our customers receive the most accurate data.

Fully Staffed Engineering Department

Our team collaborates with customers in the development of progressive tube end forming systems to precise tolerances.

Options include single or combinations of:

Beading, flaring, cutoff after bend, swaging, pinch trim, piercing, offset expansion, coping, saddle or scarf cuts and slotting and deburring of metal tube

Tube Fabricating Services

Proto-1 provides this service for customers requiring production tubes run on our equipment. This is an accommodating option for those who may have limited space for their own equipment or cannot justify
purchase of equipment due to low volumes.

Engineering of Jigs and Fixtures

Our team will help design and produce Jigs and Fixtures used in assembly processes for numerous applications to meet your business needs. Proto-1 manufactures fixtures designed to support tubes on our equipment and customizes automated fixtures for support and transporting to other operations in the work cells.

Machine Shop Services

In-house machining gives us the ability to shift projects quickly to meet customer needs. We have a state of the art shop with Multi Axis CNC Mill's, CNC Lathe's, Heat Treating, Boring Bar, Assembly Department and Laser machine. Parts are produced in-house by our highly
talented shop staff.

Automation

At Proto-1 we are dedicated to providing the highest quality products. Robotics and automation can assist in improving business performance. We have an experienced staff that can design and build a fully automated work cell from start to finish.
